We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the team at our Sydney head office on Castlereagh St.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Analyst to join our our FP&A and Origination team on a 6-month contract.
The role will focus on providing accurate and timely analysis, reporting and forecasting information to help support decision making.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:
* Prepare accurate, effective, and timely communication materials and reports.
* Support performance analysis versus budgets/forecasts, identifying variances and influencing factors.
* Assist in preparing assumptions, project performance reviews, and budget/forecast processes.
* Prepare periodic financial reports for Dev LLC and contribute to Stockland’s results announcements.
* Provide insights into the financial performance of development projects.
* Support development/project valuations and impairments.
* Identify and implement automation and standardization to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to solve issues, leverage opportunities, and influence business performance.
About You
The ideal candidate should possess relevant tertiary qualifications and have experience in analytical roles within finance or accounting. They must demonstrate strong analytical and financial modelling skills, effective time management, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Excel is highly valued. Exposure to Anaplan, SAP & knowledge of Power BI would also be beneficial.
We are looking for candidates with a positive proactive attitude. A background in one of the Big 4 accounting firms and a strong technical foundation will be particularly well-suited for this role or experience within a corporate environment in a similar role.
