Our client is a well-established Australian business specialising in smart cities /IoT style solutions.
Based in St Leonards, the Business Analyst/QA Analyst is a newly created role that will start off as an initial 6 months contract with the possibility of going permanent. This role is available as full or part-time (3-4 days per wek)
The purpose of the role is to take ownership of User Stories to deliver functionalities and User outcomes as defined in the product backlog.
This will involve writing User stories in an Agile environment as well as acceptance test criteria, preparing wireframes, and facilitating UAT.
Reporting to the Product Owner, you will bring to this role min 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst and min 3 years’ experience in quality assurance (QA).
Your responsibilities will include:
* Prepare user stories and wireframes
* Testing of user stories
* Analyse and detail workflows and definitions of error and corner cases
* Testing and validation of user stories prior to release
* Support the Product Owner
* Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and present solutions
You will bring to this role:
* Experience in business analysis (main skill) and quality assurance testing
* Experience – ideally, with GIS focused reporting and BI, web data management portals
* Understanding of REST web APIs
* Familiarity with EMVCo, PCI and card payments would be an advantage – nice to have
* Agile engineering development and release framework experience
* Familiarity with Test Automation and Cloud computing, Azure DevOps
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Adaptability and can do attitude
