About the opportunity
At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Personal Care Assistant, you'll make a genuine difference when it's needed the most.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support individuals with daily tasks, personal care needs, and mobility assistance. Your role will involve fostering independence, providing companionship, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under your care.
* Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of Mercy Health.
* Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
* Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information.
* Preferred availability during the evening, overnight and weekends.

* Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
* A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
* The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
* Current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clearance.
