At Phillip Riley we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in QLD.
As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
Main Tasks include:
Prepare financial reportsReduce or maintain costsCashflow forecastingDrive continuous improvement of accounting practicesLiaise with auditors for annual monitoringLooking for cost-reduction opportunitiesManage employees in the financial departmentManaging compliance requirementsPrepare monthly management accountsSupervisionAdvising on investment activitiesAiding management in financial decisionsCollecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial informationDetermining profitabilityFormulating strategic and long-term business plansManage audit processes of current systemsDetermining, implementing, monitoring, reviewing and evaluating budgetary and accounting strategies, policies and plans in consultation with other ManagersProviding financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needsCoordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting systemsMinimum of 2 years' experience required.
