Established to deliver essential water and wastewater services, Logan Water was created to support the city's development while ensuring the sustainability of its natural resources.
As a Directorate of LCC, Logan Water is accountable for $4 billion worth of assets, $270 million of annual revenue, and managing approximately $350 million of capital and operation expenditure per year.
Logan Water's vision is to be reliable, sustainable, and committed, with a constant focus on providing safe, reliable, and sustainable water and sewerage services for the benefit of the Logan community.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Logan Water, the Manager Water Service Delivery is a critical role responsible for overseeing Logan Water's asset management and maintenance strategy, as well as leading water and wastewater network operations to maintain high performance standards and safeguard drinking water quality for Logan's growing community of over 360,000 people.
This role is a key member of the Logan Water Leadership Team (WLT), overseeing a branch of up to 146 staff.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate significant experience in an executive or senior-level position with a focus on network operations, maintenance and performance from a utilities or water sector background.
As an experienced people leader, you will ensure exemplary health and safety practices, alongside proven success in managing operational requirements and ensuring service performance in a complex operating environment.
You will be known for being calm under pressure and have a track record of effectively problem solving and responding to diverse factors that influence operations.
Furthermore, your leadership should encourage accountability and drive a high-performing team culture with a focus on safety leadership.
Strong verbal, written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this role.
