As our AO7 Portfolio Risk Analyst, you will:
1. Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders regarding risk and assurance management and analytics to contribute to the building capabilities within the program.
2. Identify, analyse and interpret trends and patterns relating to risk.
3. Convert data into consumable information that is readily understood, develop reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate analytical insights.
4. Prepare and guide the preparation of timely reporting and analysis for senior executives
5. Perform a range of quality assurance and control activities to ensure compliance with Queensland Government policies and business expectations.
6. Undertake audits and assurance activities and engage with stakeholders to develop high quality reports with recommendations based upon robust analysis.
7. Provide high-level verbal and written reports, briefs, presentations, submissions and advice to Executive and Board which reflect a deep knowledge of industry standards, contemporary approaches to risk, assurance, governance and management and the ability to distil complex matters into succinct, clear and articulate communications.
8. Provide insightful recommendations based on data and statistical analysis and visualise these through business intelligence tools to engage with executives and non-technical audiences.
9. Participate in defining, scoping and planning risk and assurance requirements to meet business requirements including building integrations between key stakeholders.
10. Actively contribute to building a positive workplace culture to encourage inclusiveness, health and well-being, ethical behaviour and building positive performance teams. You may also have
11. Relevant qualification, training and/or experience in the field of compliance, auditing, and assurance.
12. Demonstrated ability to provide a detailed analysis and reporting of risk activities and results.
13. Demonstrated experience working in fast moving complex major projects/workstreams.
14. Proven ability to partner with stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective compliance analysis and modelling.
15. Proven ability to solve problems and provide strategic advice.
