Your focus will be to ensure the effective planning, documentation, and delivery of minor civil infrastructure projects.This position's primary focus will be delivering the Flood Resilience Program, including major stormwater and pump station projects. As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with our Portfolio team, broader Council, customers, and subcontractors to ensure the management and completion of civil projects. Skills and/or knowledge in managing time, setting priorities, contract administration, project management, and a robust stakeholder engagement focus are all required for this role. In this role, you will join our Flood Resilience Program and be responsible for successfully completing projects as part of that team. Your tasks and responsibilities within the team will include:Coordinating daily activities and serving as a point of escalation for critical and non-critical events.Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and understanding WHS best practices.Assisting in maintaining project programs, schedules, and documentation.Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.Providing consistent project and cost reporting.Additional Information:Term Contract: contracted hours of work 35 hours a week/70 hours a fortnight up to 31 December 2026.Closing date: Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate pool is established.Location: The position will be primarily at our Flood Portfolio Office in Lismore.
