The Role As Manager Engineering reporting to the General Manager Engineering & Horticulture, you'll lead a dynamic team responsible for delivering exceptional engineering investigation, design, and traffic services.You'll oversee key programs and projects within the Council's annual Capital Works program, ensuring that the strategic visions and goals of our community are brought to life.Your leadership will drive: Strategic and operational planning to meet evolving community needs.The integration of innovative approaches and emerging technologies in project design and delivery.Development of efficient, high-quality customer-focused systems and services.Strong partnerships with state and federal government bodies and other key stakeholders. About You You're a visionary leader with the expertise, creativity, and passion to shape our engineering services for the future.Your qualifications and experience include: Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field.Extensive experience managing complex work environments, with a track record of strategic thinking and innovative leadership .Proven success in leading and developing teams, driving productivity, and implementing efficiency improvements.Strong financial acumen, including budgetary control and project management skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
