As they continue to expand their team, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our clients state-of-the-art imaging department in Sydney's western suburbs. Key Responsibilities: Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including SPECT and GAMMA and other diagnostic scans, ensuring high-quality images and accurate results. (PET coming soon) Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in a safe and effective manner, following all protocols. Assist physicians in interpreting results, providing timely and accurate reports. Ensure the correct operation, maintenance, and cleanliness of imaging equipment. Provide excellent patient care, including explaining procedures to patients and ensuring comfort throughout the process. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to radiation safety. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical and legal requirements. Key Requirements: Recognized qualification in Nuclear Medicine or a related field. Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). Previous experience in nuclear medicine imaging is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging procedures, and radiation safety. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
