**About The Role**
We are seeking a permanent, full-time, values-driven Case Worker to join our AOD team in Townsville or Rowes Bay, QLD. Reporting to the AOD Team Leader you will be responsible for providing effective service delivery and ensuring case management, assessment and referral, education and support are provided in accordance with The Salvation Army guidelines (within a comprehensive participant-led, recovery-based framework). Salary in accordance with SCHADS Level 4 Award.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Provide efficient day to day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral and case work within a recovery-orientated and person-led service environment.
2. Develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports and data collection, utilising established case planning procedures.
3. Undertake ad hoc duties as requested by the Manager, Program Manager, or Senior Case Worker.
4. Demonstrate commitment to an environment that values continuous improvement and innovation in the delivery of high quality services.
5. Aquire and maintain a good working knowledge of referral and support options for participants.
**About You**
* You hold a minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management).
* You have completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or willing to undertake/complete during employment).
* You demonstrated ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviours utilising de-escalation techniques.
* You have at least two years' experience in recovery, if applicable.
* You have sound computer literacy.
* You have ability to critically reflect on professional practice and attitudes.
* You have ability to develop and tailor programs to meet participants' needs.
