About the role The Construction & Piping Lead Supervisor will work within the Major Projects Team on-site on the refinery facility in Kwinana and deliver the upgrade project with the client's partners.
The role will lead the owner's construction management responsibilities through the execution phases, coordinating between the various parties to ensure construction and commissioning activities occur safely, on time and within budget, through until 2027.
Key components of the role: • Manage the JV owner's interest in the construction of the project • Ensure the safety of the construction workforce utilising company safety systems, and those of the EPCM • Interface with the EPCM and its constructor, ensuring the workforce follows client permit to work processes • Follow the construction project schedule, ensuring the EPCM achieves the agreed completion date • Identifying efficiencies, preventing manpower and material waste If successful, you will be rewarded with: • Highly competitive industry rates • No FIFO – sleep in your own bed every night!
• Long term 2 year casual contract employed by Chandler Macleod • Monday to Friday: 38 hours per week • Superannuation Contribution on ALL hours worked (paid monthly) • Dedicated Senior Consultant for Candidate Care • Weekly Pay + Access to Chandler Macleod's EAP Programme • Huge focus on safety and welfare of all contractors What We Need From You: • A strong focus on safety and safe work practices in a brown fields construction/operating environment • Construction and piping experience in the chemicals, energy or mining industries • Experience overseeing mechanical and electrical construction teams • Relevant tertiary engineering or mechanical trade qualification • Specific experience in piping, with experience in other areas such as electrical, civil and structural desirable Interested and qualified candidates would be available to commence on-site in early February.
