About the Role:
The People and Culture division at CDC is looking for a dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated Recruitment Specialist to join their team at our Seven Hills depot. The recruitment team is the first point of contact for anyone interested in a career at CDC; we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional candidate experience for all applicants, whether successful or not.
This is an ongoing full-time opportunity reporting to the Recruitment Manager to provide recruitment support across our network.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1. Identifying candidates from direct sourcing channels
2. Screening both directly sourced candidates and those who have applied for roles at CDC
3. Liaising with depot managers to support recruitment activities across multiple depots and regions
4. Ensuring all applicants have the relevant qualifications/licenses for the role being considered
5. Liaising with the recruitment coordinator to organise pre-employment checks
6. Liaising with training to book candidates for driving assessments
7. Identifying marketing opportunities to attract new experienced employees
8. Travelling to depots to understand each location and build relationships with depot managers and other key stakeholders
9. Providing up-to-date reporting on all recruitment activities
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Recruitment experience either agency or in-house (ideally), or experience within an outbound call centre/sales environment
2. Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment delivering recruitment outcomes and efficiencies
3. Demonstrated experience building productive relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers
4. Demonstrated experience in interpreting, applying, and ensuring compliance with relevant enterprise agreements and awards and recruitment procedures throughout the recruitment process
5. Experience using social media platforms to reach candidates and raise awareness of the wider organisation
6. Creative sourcing skills and a proactive approach
7. Exceptional time management and organisational skills
8. Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
9. Microsoft Office experience is essential, including Intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
10. Experience using applicant tracking systems or sales CRMs would be highly regarded
