About ThePosition
The Development Engineer role isinvolved in an interesting variety of challenging work includingresidential, commercial and industrial developmentassessment.
This position involves theassessment of a variety of engineering matters submitted to theCity by developers, including; traffic management plans, trafficimpact statements, civil subdivision drawings and stormwatermanagement plans. The role also includes assessment from acivil/traffic perspective on a variety of planning applications,including; scheme amendments, structure plans, subdivisionproposals, local development plans, development applications andparking management plans.
About You
You are an enthusiastic, motivatedand team focussed Development Engineer (with aparticular interest in the field of traffic engineering) whoembraces working in a dynamic and evolving environment. Thesuccessful applicant will possess the following;
10. Tertiary qualifications in Civil/Traffic engineering with ability to be accepted to the Institute of Engineers Australia
11. Experience in preparing/reviewing engineering matters including transport impact assessments, transport impact statements, traffic management plans and parking studies
12. Experience working on complex projects and using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
13. Excellent liaison and negotiation skills, preferably demonstrated with government agencies and consultants.
Salary: $116,995-$123,944 per annum (plussuper), depending on relevant qualifications and experience, withcommuting use of a vehicle negotiable to the right applicant.
