You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

8. Buddy shifts with CPA’s experienced Disability Support Practitioners
9. Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.
Your duties will include:
10. Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
11. Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
12. Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
13. Building positive relationships with our clients
14. Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable
Requirements
15. NSW Driver’s Licence P2 or Full required
16. Must be willing to travel to across Newcastle
