Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the CHPP Maintenance Superintendent, this position will participate in the monitoring, evaluation and improvement of equipment lifecycle to ensure maximum life and availability of equipment, wear components and related consumables at the Coal Handling Prep Plant.
* Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through demonstrated commitment to safe behaviours
* Monitor, evaluate and improve equipment lifecycles
* Minimise the use of wear components and related consumables
* Maximise operational availability through a sound maintenance regime
* Develop and implement improvement projects
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor or Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
* Current drivers’ licence
* 5 years industry experience in engineering roles
* Sound knowledge in SAP (or other similar systems) and MS Excel
* Ability to source and analyse data to facilitate management decision making
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
