About the role As Senior Biosecurity Inspector (Invasive Species), you'll play an important role in ensuring weeds and pest animals do not adversely impact Tasmania's biodiversity, agriculture, community, or economy. Investigate potential breaches of legislation and/or biosecurity risks. Engage with the public, landholders, and managers through enquiries and gathering evidence. Plan and coordinate regional eradication programs for new and emerging weeds and pest animals. Lead local activities during an emergency response as required. Contribute to developing and implementing Local/Regional/State and National weed and vertebrate pest management plans and programs.
