Current Working With Children's Check Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check Knowledge & Experience Previous experience within a Catholic teaching, operational or administrative-related setting (preferred but not essential) Solid experience working in a highly organised office administration or support role (e.g. Personal Assistant or Team Assistant role) in a busy, ever-changing, and sometimes challenging environment Solid experience working in a similar educational or wellbeing support role within a school environment or educational institution Experience working with adolescents, young adults, or children would be highly regarded, but not essential. Skills & Attributes Highly organised individual with strong abilities in task and work allocation and prioritisation, in a busy, multi-tasking and constantly changing team environment Advanced computer abilities with standard school systems (e.g. timetabling), databases, Google Drive/suite as well as Microsoft Office (Word, XL, and PowerPoint) Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken) including the ability to liaise professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders A high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence would be beneficial to the incumbent, so as to ensure sensitivity and discretion is applied in certain challenging situations which occur from time to time Ability to interpret basic school-relevant data (e.g. student absenteeism data or curriculum/assessment results) and the ability to recommend practical suggestions or actionable objectives to a senior staff member Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take initiative with idea generation, problem resolution, and process improvement The ability to adapt to changing situations and remain patient, calm and composed during a challenging or difficult discussion, which may be highly sensitive, confidential, and emotional in nature for the parties involved.
