Job Title: Finance Manager
This is a newly created role that will utilize your financial knowledge and system expertise to drive continuous process improvement and ensure compliance with local governance, tax, and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare statutory financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statement) in accordance with local legal standards.
* Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation packages as per company policy.
* Present local financial statements to internal and external partners.
Tax-Related Tasks:
* Prepare recurring and non-recurring tax returns.
* Manage tax controls and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
* Handle tax-related tasks for Australia (BAS, income tax, FBT, payroll tax, transfer pricing) and New Zealand (income tax, GST, FBT, transfer pricing).
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
* Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant.
* 3-5+ years of business experience or extensive professional experience in Tax, Audit, General Ledger, and Statutory reporting.
* Experience in the preparation and lodgement of Australian income tax, fringe benefits tax, and payroll tax.
* Deep knowledge of IFRS and Local GAAP, with tax awareness and audit experience.
* Systems - SAP.
Work Environment:
The organisation has a strong preference for their senior staff to be in the office 5 days a week. However, they do provide flexibility around start times and for ad hoc arrangements and personal appointments.
