The Role:
This is a unique opportunity to deliver change across greenfield projects throughout our organisation and associated entities.
In this fixed term Change Manager role your structured approach to change management and change readiness with the ability to manage complex multi-faceted teams and stakeholders will be crucial to the success of our first ever HRIS implementation and additional digital transformation projects.
What you will be doing:
* Implement change management approach into the organisation to drive and facilitate the successful transition and adaptation of the HRIS through the different stages of change, and maximising end user adoption and uptake.
* Identify, develop and initiate appropriate change management plans and practices as they relate to the needs of the Synod across a broad range of streams and complex stakeholder groups.
* Lead and manage the delivery change management activities.
* Consult with the Project team and organisation leaders to develop cultural change and transition plans including communication and engagement plans for the organisation and staff to build readiness and support for the change.
* Manage interdependencies of and coordination across change management activities to ensure that information relating to change deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that benefits are monitored and managed, particularly from an end user adoption perspective.
* Monitor and assess the environment at different stages of change; identifying risks and issues associated with the change, developing and modifying the change management plan to meet the needs and address barriers and resistance to change.
* Undertake communication and audience engagement activities, supported by Communications and Marketing. This includes the development of collateral, resources, and campaigns to drive awareness of change.
* Work with the wider organisation, particularly IT, to support employees in navigating organisation and technology transformation and to seamlessly and successfully transition and adopt the change into business as usual.
What you will need:
* 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in Change Management and relating to major business digital transformation projects.
* Experience with change management methodologies, frameworks and tools such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, HCD or similar.
* Proven implementation experience relating to waterfall and agile programs or projects is highly desirable.
* Experience in Greenfields digital transformation projects is highly regarded.
* Strong project environment changes management skills, with ability to lead and manage complex digital transformation project change with a continuous learning and growth mindset.
* Proven capacity to build and grow partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet organisational objectives and show ability through effective change management.
