We are working with a leading engineering and technology services organisation to source an experienced Asset Manager for a major infrastructure program in the power transmission sector.
This is an initial 6-month contract, with high potential for extension, based onsite in Perth. You'll be joining a team supporting one of Western Australia's key utilities in managing and optimising high-voltage transmission assets.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver asset management strategies for transmission infrastructure (including substations, transformers, switchgear, and overhead lines).Conduct asset lifecycle assessments, condition monitoring, and risk-based planning.Drive asset performance improvements through data-driven decision-making.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance asset reliability, resilience, and safety.Contribute to capital investment planning and regulatory submissions.Ensure compliance with asset management standards and best practices, including ISO 55000.Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience as an Asset Manager or in a similar role within the power transmission sector.Strong technical knowledge of high-voltage transmission systems, substations, and grid infrastructure.Familiarity with risk-based asset management, reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), and condition-based monitoring.Experience working with asset management systems and platforms (e.g. GIS, SCADA, EAM/CMMS).Stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and utility clients.Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.Location: Perth (on-site)
Type: Contract – initial 6 months, likely to extend
Rate: Competitive daily rate (based on experience)
