About the Role:
Are you an experienced horticulturalist, agronomist or work within the gardening or agriculture industry? Have you delivered short courses, Certificates or Diplomas, or ever wanted to add “Trainer” to your repertoire?
Stirling is seeking passionate and experienced “green thumbs” to join our dynamic team to facilitate our Certificate III in Horticulture (AHC30716). Our Certificate III in Horticulture is one of Stirling's most popular qualifications, with our trainers responsible for delivering hands-on, dynamic training to amazing students from all backgrounds and demographics.
To be able to teach this qualification, you must have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) and a qualification, or suitable experience, in Horticulture or Agriculture.
What your engagement will look like:

5. Our Training is completed Face-to-Face within a classroom or outside in nature.
6. Your students will range from VCE students, to mature adults and come from a variety of professional and cultural backgrounds
7. You will be required to work towards Stirling’s compliance requirements, such as completing attendance registers or supporting surveys.
8. This is a contract position – payment is on a invoice ABN arrangement and is based on your day of training and other factors, such as the number of assignments assessed.
9. We are seeking trainers to commence in August and training out of our Campbellfield location, however we will run this qualification several times during the year all across Victoria, so we are always keen to hear from those available in the future.
