Barker Ryan Stewart currently has a Civil Engineer / Designer position available to assist with growing our design team and to work on our subdivision, development, and council road infrastructure projects. The position is available in our Northern Rivers or South East Queensland office locations. About us: At Barker Ryan Stewart, we believe in better. Key responsibilities: Preparation of civil engineering and infrastructure road designs, specifications, models and supporting documentation. Providing designs which are fit for purpose, practical, cost-effective, comply with relevant design and regulatory standards, and comply with WHS and Quality Control requirements. Work closely with engineering team members to clarify design and/or documentation issues throughout the design, documentation and construction phases. Reviewing the work of draftspersons designs, information, drawings and documentation. Provide technical advice to management, staff and clients. About you: Certificate III in Drafting Trades, Diploma in Civil Engineering and/or University Engineering Degree recognised by Engineers Australia, or equivalent. Good working knowledge and experience with 12d and/or Civil 3D design package. Good working knowledge and experience with DRAINS and MUSIC design packagesStrong road and infrastructure design skills.
