Position Summary: The role is responsible for testing and analysis of new and existing electronics designs, configuring and performing electrical testing and undertaking Software testing. Key Responsibilities: Support Engineering Staff: Assist in the development and testing of electrical and electronic systems, including designing and building electronic circuits and test equipment. Testing & Evaluation: Undertake electrical and electronics testing, evaluate performance against design specifications, and document tests according to standard reporting methods. Software Testing: Conduct detailed software testing against defined operating specifications. Warranty Analysis: Analyse failed components to determine failure modes and contribute to technical discussions regarding electronic products and designs. Promote the highest degree of health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with quality systems and environmental standards, contributing to our corporate social responsibility goals. Qualifications and Experience: Associate Diploma in Electronics Proven experience in high-volume consumer electronic circuit design and engineering test environments. Familiarity with CAD software (Altium preferred). Understanding of embedded software code (C language). Experience in electronics manufacturing and testing processes. Knowledge of EMC design techniques and failure modes of electronic components. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders. Results-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
