APS 3 Recruitment Officer - Government Opportunity
Contract: 4-6 months (Labour Hire)
Location: Bruce, Canberra (WFH up to 2 days/week)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
Start Date: 24th March 2024
End Date: 30th September 2025 (No extension)
Hourly Rate: TBC
Requirements:
* Australian Citizen
* Baseline Security Clearance (must be maintained)
* National Police Check (prior to commencement)
* Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) check (can start with proof of application)
About the Role:
This role provides essential recruitment support to a high-profile government team, ensuring seamless hiring processes and compliance with HR policies. The APS 3 Recruitment Officer will be responsible for administrative tasks, stakeholder engagement, and maintaining recruitment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end recruitment support, including job advertising, pre-engagement checks, and onboarding
* Managing the recruitment team mailbox and responding to candidate and stakeholder inquiries
* Maintaining accurate recruitment records and ensuring compliance with policies
* Assisting in the development and improvement of recruitment templates and processes
* Supporting HR projects and broader recruitment initiatives
* Processing and maintaining recruitment documentation in HireRoad (eRecruitment)
Ideal Candidate:
* APS recruitment experience (essential)
* Experience with HireRoad (eRecruitment) or similar systems (essential)
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with stakeholders
