Based in Bondi Junction and reporting to the Head of Lending, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Working closely with sales to structure and price deals, approve within DLA, and prepare submissions for senior credit approval. Assess credit applications and determine risk levels. Evaluate credit scores, payment history, and industry trends. Set credit limits and terms for borrowers. Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements). Ensure credit policies align with internal and regulatory guidelines. Prepare credit reports and present findings to senior management, investors, or regulators. Interpret valuations and interface with valuers and clients to gain clarity and determine risks and risk mitigants; overtime evolving to present valuations, then ultimately being able to prepare valuations. Working closely with settlements to ensure deals are settled in a timely manner. Assist in building financial forecasts and complex modelling for the business. To be successful in this role, you must have:
Experience in mortgage broking, financial planning, accounting, or equipment rental is highly desirable. Skills in PC-based software, particularly very strong Excel modelling skills (skills testing will be conducted during the interview process). Previous experience in credit is highly desirable. A bachelor's degree in finance or any related field. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve, having an analytical approach to every aspect of the role. Previous experience in building valuation models is highly desirable. About us
