Based in Warragul and reporting to the Home Care Manager you will be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries from clients and staff.
You will join an established team with the responsibility of allocation of shifts to our Support Workers for our Home Care clients.
Responsibilities include: Manage the roster according to the Annual Workforce PlanAnswering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiriesScheduling of support staff and ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely mannerUnderstanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care planIdentifying gaps in the roster, ensuring there is a pool of support workers credentialed and ready for shiftsEngage and communicate effectively within all divisions of Home CareReporting incidents immediately in line with the Home Care Incident reporting policiesPerform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager To be considered: Ability to answer phone/email enquires in a fast-paced environmentExperience in rostering within the healthcare sector (desirable)Driven, passionate and dedicated to scheduling effective services for clients and staffAbility to calmly perform in high pressure situationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsCurrent or willing to obtain National Police checkCurrent or willing to obtain Working with Children checkMust be Covid-19 Vaccinated About GIPPSLAND CARE SERVICES:We are proud to offer a wide range of personal care services and domestic services, and are now an Approved Provider of Commonwealth-funded Home Care Packages (HCP).
