2. Salary: $70,535 - $96,242 (pro rata) - RN/RM1; $82,398 - $104,154 (pro rata) - RN/RM2C - Multiple positions: Perm & Temp P/T (hrs to be negotiated, up to 32 hrs p/wk, over a 7 day roster)

The Mount Barker District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital - Emergency Department, is embarking on an exciting journey, upgrading to a new facility to provide health care to the people of Mount Barker and surrounding areas.

About the role:
Exciting and challenging roles are available for value based, self-motivated and innovative Clinical and Registered Nurses looking to join a strong and supportive Emergency Department team. Utilising your strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide high quality patient care, you will assist with delivering responsive Emergency Department services at the Mount Barker District Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Your duties will involve assessing patients' needs, planning, implementing and coordinating appropriate service delivery options and communicating changes in condition and care. This will include recognising and responding to clinical deterioration or other incidents and escalating appropriately. You will also monitor client care plans and participate in clinical auditing and evaluative research to ensure appropriate patient care outcomes are achieved. Qualifications:
Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate. You will have a solid background in nursing practice which is responsive to patients' needs. Demonstrating the ability to think on your feet and work within changing environments, you will bring a proven track record in working effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Good organisation skills will be essential, along with the ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines whilst working under minimal supervision. You will also possess good communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
