About the Role: This proactive NSW-based role focuses on targeting the Water and Wastewater markets by identifying key projects early and driving specification and product approvals. Through a strategic approach, you will grow revenue within your territory, develop and nurture key customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of ongoing projects and market conditions. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the Sales Team and broader market, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and strategic goals. Sales Activity: Manage sales and project activities primarily across NSW, with potential for involvement in mining opportunities in other states. Coordinate and communicate strategic direction to the Sales Team, ensuring sales targets are met, revenue and margins are maximized, and forecasts remain accurate. Sales Opportunities: Identify sales opportunities early and collaborate with the Sales Team to develop a strategic and coordinated approach that achieves targeted success rates. Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, influencers, and specifiers. Work with the Sales Team to prospect and target new customers for growth, creating business plans to support effective customer management. Product and Supplier Management: Strategically enhance the product portfolio to meet market needs, ensuring offerings are council-approved, competitively priced, accurately coded, well-stocked, and aligned with financial objectives. Champion specific suppliers, brands, and agencies, maintaining close relationships and coordinating product and marketing needs across the business. Product Pricing: Ensure pricing is both competitive and profitable, supporting the company’s market leadership while achieving financial goals. Product Specification: Promote the specification of strategic products through regular engagement with consultants, specifiers, water authorities, and councils. Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows and within key industry groups and organizations to enhance visibility and market presence. Proven Sales Record: Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale projects, with a strong track record in both the water and mining markets.
