An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Safety Advisor, who will be responsible for providing expert practical advice and support across the SCHHS on complex safety matters and risks in accordance with legislative and SCHHS frameworks. The purpose of this role is to assist and support the delivery of significant and consistent outcomes and outputs that contribute to the achievement of SCHHS's organisational goals and providing a safe work environment.Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Provide support to the Director Safety & Wellbeing as secretariat to the Divisional WHS Committees and or other committees as required.Work in collaboration with the Senior Safety Advisor Governance in the execution of safety audits, inspections, safety training and fit testing.Provide contemporary expert and technical advice and support for the management of safety within the context of legislative and SCHHS safety and wellbeing frameworks.Remuneration value up to $12,360p.m., comprising salary between $4651.70 - $4982.80 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6) (Fixed term full-time temporary position available for 12 months).
