The Role
We seek an experienced Fire Suppression Technician for our team in Orange, working a 9-day fortnight (5/2, 4/3).
In this role, you will install and service fire suppression systems on mobile equipment and provide technical support to customers across NSW.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform fault diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of Fire Suppression systems.
2. Identify faults in electrical and mechanical configurations of various mobile suppression systems.
3. Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
4. Support technicians from other regions and assist in training.
5. Adhere to policies & procedures, especially EHS policies.
6. Work effectively in a team environment or autonomously.
7. Assist with machine audits/inspections.
Your Profile
1. You must hold a valid, open driver's license due to required travel.
2. Knowledge and exposure to fire suppression systems applicable to mobile mining equipment is essential.
3. You should possess strong customer service and communication skills.
4. You will need to work with customer requirements, procedures, and safety policies.
5. A positive attitude and determination to achieve customer satisfaction targets are required.
6. Accreditation by the Fire Protection Association (FPA) is desirable.
