The Armidale Waldorf School seeks a passionate professional to work as a Wellbeing Coordinator from K-12.
This position is 4 to 5 days/week.
We are seeking someone who loves working with children and who is interested in working in a Steiner school.
We are looking for someone who will bring warmth, expertise, and a deep commitment to building our wellbeing program across the school.
This position begins Term 1 2025.
Key Responsibilities Appropriate qualification or experience in child and adolescent wellbeing (completion of Mental Health First Aid or equivalent desirable).
Demonstrated knowledge of wellbeing practices and theory including restorative practice, risk management and referral procedures.
Demonstrated skills in wellbeing, including continued support of wellbeing systems in the school to ensure a safe and supportive school environment for both students and staff.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the capacity to develop productive and caring relationships with students, parents, and staff where the focus is on the learning and well-being of the student.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Interest in or experience working within the Steiner philosophy.
Interest in the environment and sustainability.
About Us The Armidale Waldorf School is an independent school situated in a beautiful bushland setting on the fringe of Armidale City, in the New England Region of NSW.
We currently offer programs to children from playgroup to Stage 6 (year 11/12) with a Rudolf Steiner philosophy and NESA approved curriculum.
