Student Wellbeing Advisor
We are seeking an empathetic Student Wellbeing Advisor with outstanding communication skills to join our Student Wellbeing Advisory Team at Curtin University's vibrant Bentley campus.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide confidential welfare, advisory, and referral services to students, maintaining confidential case notes in the 'Right Now' CRM system. You will also advise students on academic policies and guidelines, provide early intervention support for at-risk students, and produce regular reports on student issues and usage statistics.
Requirements
* Completion of a degree within the Social, Health Sciences or Humanities fields, and subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education training.
* Highly developed oral and written communication skills with cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness.
* Knowledge of operating a face-to-face, telephone and email-based support service, with the ability to assess the needs of distressed, vulnerable and at-risk students.
