Windana plays a pivotal role in influencing policy and the sector to create a positive and connected future for the communities they support.As Chief Executive Officer, you will partner with the Board of Directors and the executive leadership team to ensure the execution of the current 2024-2026 Strategic Plan and support the future long-term strategic vision for Windana ensuring they can continue to create positive outcomes and more connected services for people in need. You will identify opportunities for strategic growth, innovation and service diversification in line with Windana's mission and vision, including further organic growth, merger and acquisitions and philanthropic support. In partnership with the Executive Leadership team you will articulate a clear vision for the future and ensure that this can be successfully executed, ensuring greater impact, future financial sustainability, operational excellence and the delivery of high-quality and safe services. This will include driving a continuous improvement mindset across the organisation to improve the quality of services and programs. Additionally, you will foster a culture where the team are inspired and highly engaged in a culturally safe environment, allowing enabling them to contribute to their full potential.Critical to your success will be your ability to build trusted relationships with government stakeholders and establish strategic partnerships across the sector, to unlock new strategic opportunities and position Windana as a leading advocate across the Alcohol and Drug and broader community health sector. Importantly, you will establish a trusted and transparent working relationship with the Board to ensure strong governance and to enable strategic opportunities to be effectively leveraged to support Windana's strategic growth.Recognised as an experienced CEO or executive leader, you will have a demonstrated track record of leading aligned social services organisations through transformation and change while achieving strategic growth and operational excellence, service innovation and cultural engagement. Your executive experience leading aligned organisations across the not-for-profit sector, including alcohol and drug, community health, youth services, mental health, homelessness, aged care and public health will be highly regarded. You will have strategically led an organisation to execute and deliver a client-centred strategic vision, while ensuring effective and innovative operational service environments and driving a culture of continuous improvement and long-term sustainability. You will bring strong governance experience, commercial acumen, emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to effectively partner with a Board of Directors.You will be recognised for your experience in effective public advocacy and ability to influence a range of diverse stakeholders to influence policy, generate diversified funding and drive service innovation.
