Impact and Contribution: Reporting to the Executive Manager - Lending Policy & Performance, the purpose of the role is to grow CommBank Health's market share and brand, with a focus on commercial lending growth.You will do this by designing and implementing how the Group will engage with the various healthcare segments, including medicos, allied healthcare, pharmacy, specialist disability accommodation and seniors living. Your Responsibilities: Execute the development and acceptance of the leading lending policies and processes Draft and review policies and related documents to improve effective decision-making, drive simplicity and improve risk outcomes of the group. Establish and effectively manage relationships and communications with lending policy stakeholders to achieve the governance and policy outcomes required. Conduct lending policy-related analysis and research to drive improvement and the adoption of best practice in governance and policy life-cycle management. Develop strong partnerships with frontline Health teams to ensure best practice lending deal structuring, key industry fundamentals, portfolio management and also support in customer engagement as industry subject matter expert. Develop market leading lending strategies as the business focus evolves into new areas of lending specialisation. Build upon a strong partnership with Credit Risk teams, including a deep understanding of the credit process with a focus to work collaboratively on key risk themes including regular reporting requirements for both portfolio monitoring purposes and contribution to risk initiatives from an industry perspective. Build a network of internal and external contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for industry-focused presentations, industry reviews and internal reporting documents. Your skills and experience: In depth experience of commercial lending credit applications Effective communication and negotiating skills with a highly developed customer service focus. Ability to work and deliver in a high-pressure and changing environment. Strong sense of time management, urgency with a focus on outcomes. Excellent analytical, planning, organising, evaluation and problem solving skills. Capable of sourcing relevant information from a large network of contacts.
