Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, and working as a genuine 2iC, your role will include:
* Ensure the accurate, timely and efficient processing of the Group's payroll (3500+ employees)
* Coach, train and develop junior team members
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within systems and compliance
* Assist with the timely preparation of payroll related data, statistics, and other reports (escalating issues if required)
* Provide support to the Head of Payroll in complex payroll calculations and transactions
* Work collaboratively with broader business to ensure understanding of time and attendance systems and required processes for accurate and timely pay
* Other ad hoc tasks (please enquire within for a full list of key roles and responsibilities within the PD)
The Successful Applicant
We are seeking experienced payroll professionals who meet the following criteria:
* 5+ years' experience processing large payrolls end to end
* Established understanding of awards, payroll and relevant legislation
* Experience with Chris21 will be highly regarded
* Strong communicator over phone, video and email
* Experience in working with and influencing leaders and staff
