Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef de Partie who specializes in Ala Carte cuisine and can effectively manage multiple kitchen sections.
About the Role:
Your behind-the-scenes expertise will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of excellence, preserving our culinary reputation, and ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
You will be responsible for:
* Station Organization: Setting up stations, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are readily available.
* Menu Creation: Developing and reviewing menus and daily specials, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
* Culinary Expertise: Preparing and cooking a variety of Ala Carte dishes according to established recipes and guest preferences.
* Presentation: Paying close attention to presentation, garnishing dishes with precision and creativity to enhance visual appeal.
* Team Leadership: Leading the collaboration with the kitchen team and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Mentorship: Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and training to maintain a high level of performance.
Requirements:
* Certification: Commercial cookery certification and experience with a food safety system such as HACCP.
* Experience: 2 years' experience in a full-time culinary role, preferably in a hotel or luxury restaurant environment specializing in breakfast cuisine.
* Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm to learn new things, and a can-do attitude.
* Culinary Skills: Proficiency in preparing a wide range of breakfast dishes with precision and creativity.
* Eligibility: Eligibility to live and work in Australia.
