Part Time Merchandiser Required - Wollongong- Shellharbour Regions
The Koala Group has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join our team. As a Permanent Part-Time Sales merchandiser of our greeting cards and gift accessory products, you are responsible for the servicing of our customer's stores in the South Coast region of NSW. The territory encompasses Wollongong, Nowra, Callala Bay, Moss Vale and Mittagong inclusive.
Working closely with the Head Office team, Koala's Sales Merchandisers are responsible to build and maintain excellent customer relationships, adhere to call schedules, visit customer's stores on a routine basis, ordering stock for replenishment, stock management, reporting tasks, warehousing, delivering and refilling product lines into store, increasing sales and reporting to a supervising Manager.
The ideal candidate would be required to service customer's stores 2 days a week (approximately 8 service calls per week) and undertake minimum business administration in their own home office to meet the territory's needs. Ordering of stock will be done via the provision of a hand held tablet/device. A minimal amount of stock would be required to be held to enable effective servicing. Schedules must be met and forecasts must be exceeded.
The role is predominantly a Merchandising role and requires a considerable amount of customer liaison out in the field on a daily basis.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Task and goal orientated with a desire to improve on sales
2. Ability to deliver services based on call cycles and KPI's
3. Experience in delivering a high level of customer service
4. Proven ability to be self-motivated while being able to work under the guidance of a Manager
5. Ability to communicate clearly and provide ongoing feedback to Manager
6. Proven ability to listen to customers (retailers) needs
7. Well-spoken and excellent personal presentation
8. Experience in retail and/or Merchandising and display of retail products
9. A medium to large sized, reliable vehicle to transport stock, POS and display racks
10. A good level of physical fitness
11. A safe, dry and secure location to store products, cartons and display racks
12. Medium to high level computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suites
13. Qualifications or solid experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Retail, Merchandising, Customer Service, Business or Frontline Management is not a requirement however it will be a definite advantage
