About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and Senior Registered Nurse to join our Central Office Care and Lifestyle Team.
This is a full-time role based in Burswood; however, you will be required to visit our Facilities across the metro area including Mandurah and Busselton.
You will report directly to the Executive Manager- Care and Lifestyle and work within the robust systems of a mature and highly regarded residential Aged Care Provider.
Your role within the team would involve:
Provide consultancy and support to our Facility Managers and their teams across all aspects of quality systems and clinical care.Provide support and after hours On Call for care related issues for the Executive Manager Care and lifestyle during A/L and as reasonable on request.Lead or participate in projects that improve the quality of care provided to Residents, while at the same time meeting all legislative and professional standard requirements.Oversee a variety of clinical portfolio's, driving evidence-based practice, education and continuous improvement in those areas.Support Facilities to ensure all significant adverse incidents for residents are fully investigated as soon as possible after the incident has occurred, to include but no limited to, re-enactments of events where appropriate.Contribute to Clinical Governance activities such as Audits, Coronial enquiries, Accreditation Agency Visits, Clinical Indicator Analysis and SIRs reporting.Support, coach, monitor and mentor Clinical Nurse Managers and as required Registered Nurses within each facility to ensure high quality, safe and effective care and services are delivered in accordance with resident choice and goals.Contribute to development and review of policies and procedures.Support Facility staff with complex complaints from both internal and external sources.As members of the Aegis team, we collectively hold these values as paramount:

Experience in a Facility Manager or Clinical Management role within an Aged Care setting.Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills with an eye for detail.Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Strong knowledge of Aged Care legislation and Accreditation Standards.Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internal and external.Agile, operationally focused and passionate about continuous improvement.Able to deal with competing priorities easily.Aegis will provide:
