About the RoleWith a strong pipeline of projects ahead in the Northern Territory, BMD Urban have a number of opportunities for fulltime Skilled Earthmoving Plant Operators to perform work and operate a range of earth moving plant and equipment to assist with Urban development works including earthworks, roadworks, concrete pavements, trunk and reticulated underground and overhead services, as well as community and sporting facilities. The successful candidates will have experience in the following:
Operate small plant and equipment, including Water Trucks, Tip Trucks, Heavy Rigid Trucks, Street Sweepers, Bobcat, BackhoeFront End LoaderDig trenches and place pipes or cables for drains and extra servicesConstruct and maintain roads, pathways, railways and bridge structuresLoad and unload structure materials and move materials within work areasTo be successful in this role, you will need: 2+ years' experience in the civil construction industryRelevant and current tickets and licences for the above operator rolesExperience with reputable local contractors working on civil construction projects ranging in value.Civil works projects, land development and subdivision project exposure will be highly regarded.Your own transport requiredBenefitsWe offer a rewarding long-term career, opportunities to develop, and a culture that values your contribution. This is a permanent fulltime role based in Northern Territory, offering base salary of $70,000-$80,000 + EBA overtime & penalties.
