And a contributing an integral member of the Seniors Living group and supports activities aligned with the strategic direction of and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ.In this role you will:Undertake food handling, preparation and basic cooking duties.Clean and maintain kitchen area, equipment, appliances, utensils and fixtures in accordance with standard cleaning and infection control processes.Undertake basic record keeping (eg. number of meals per day, missed meals, fridge/freezer temps maintained).Liaise with the Supervisor and/or suppliers in relation to ordering and stock control.About youTo be successful in this role, you will bring prior experience in cooking for large groups, preferably in aged care or healthcare service. And have a knowledge of dietary and nutrition standards for older adults, and be team-oriented, dependable and compassionate.You will have well developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
