We are currently recruiting a Professional, Reliable and Efficient WAPOL Administration Officer with dual responsibilities to assist as a Dispatch Officer/General Office support.
Must have excellent skills in the below areas:
* Knowledge in Accounting Program - Xero
* Efficiency in all General Computing Programs - Word/Excel
* Invoicing
* Accounts
* Following Up Insurance Companies & Insurance Knowledge ideal
* Must pass a Police Integrity check
* Maintaining Vehicle Inventory across all depots.
* Pricing of Works & Verification of Jobs
* Time Management Skills
* Customer Service of a High Standard
* Knowledge in the transport/towing industry would be preferred but not necessary
Must be able to work autonomously and to a deadline.
To excel in this position, you need to be able to multi-task in stressful conditions. In addition to being an excellent communicator, fast thinker, and having superb organizational and interpersonal skills.
You will act in a supporting manner to our primary Dispatch Officer, with extra responsibilities including:
Responsibilities:
* Answer emergency and non-emergency calls.
* Dispatch jobs quickly and most cost effectively.
* Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with appropriate departments.
* Operate and manage a multi-line telephone system and an interfaced computer system.
* Respond to queries relating to each job.
* Use the phone and computer to direct Drivers to appropriate sites.
* Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
* Maintain and update call logs, call records, and other important documentation relating to each job.
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* 3 days a week, approximately 20-25 hours per week (potential to lead to full-time).
* Will need to commence ASAP.
