As a Project Administrator within the Learning Innovation and Teaching Excellence Centre (LITEC), you'll play a vital role in supporting the Director of Learning & Teaching and the leadership team in shaping the future of education at Curtin University.In this role, you'll provide key administrative support across Digital Learning and Development, Learning Technology and Analytics, and Teaching Enhancement teams.
From planning and tracking to reporting, event coordination, and communications, you'll ensure that projects are delivered successfully and make a lasting impact.At the heart of Curtin's Learning and Teaching Strategy, you'll contribute to the transformation of education and be part of something truly exciting.
If you're ready to make a difference in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!Your responsibilities will include:Support project meetings, committees, and working groups by organising schedules, preparing agendas, distributing documents, taking minutes, and managing action lists.Track project timelines, monitor progress against schedules, and provide regular, accurate reports to stakeholders.Coordinate and prepare regular and ad hoc project reports, including status updates, end-of-month reporting, expenditure forecasting, and accruals.Manage project communications, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure timely coordination of their input.Facilitate procurement processes, including acquiring goods, services, and staffing resources, as well as raising purchase orders and preparing relevant documentation.We are looking for:Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage, consult, and liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and professional correspondence and documentation.Ability to work well in a team environment, showing respect for different perspectives, providing support, accepting direction, and contributing to shared goals.Strong understanding of project management frameworks and methodologies.Role Requirements:As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin's satisfaction.About Curtin University:We are an energetic, dedicated team of academics and professionals working together to provide global solutions through quality graduates and innovative research.
