Benalla Health is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Acute Unit (Part Time & Full time Hours Available).
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager position is a key role within the Acute Unit in the mentoring and leading of nursing staff to provide high quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
* Mentor and lead the nursing staff to provide high quality care to patients.
* Coordinate aspects of care.
* Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their goals are heard and their rights are respected.
* Counsel patients and provide appropriate health education.
* Carry out day-to-day management of the unit in the absence of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).
