About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our program based at Garden Island in Sydney, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. You will be responsible for support the development of Engineering/Maintenance Planning policies, plans or processes and action, report on and achieve successful closure of all Maintenance/Engineering Planning administrative actions required to support the DDG Program of Work. Key responsibilities include: Support the development and maintenance of a Maintenance Management System, in accordance with the approved Maintenance Management Plan. Support the TSP DDG Enterprise team in the development and acquittal of Annual Work Package (AWP) and Five Year Work Package (FYWP) for the platform undergoing or following Maintenance Function's Programs of Work. Lead, plan and develop the DDG Platform Work Package and support coordination of TML work instruction development. Support the development of the ExtMP Production Master Schedule in conjunction with the Platform Installer. Support the identification and development of Set to Work (STW), Test and Trials, Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs) and Sea Acceptance Trials (SATs) planning ahead of the ExtMP. Work in conjunction with the Deputy Principal Maintenance Manager and program stakeholders to identify Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities, develop process improvements and implementation of solutions. Lead, plan and develop the DDG Platform Work Package and support coordination of TML work instruction development for: All tasks required to keep ship certified until the next EMP; Recertification of any certified items (PV, Hoses, Gauges, Pressure Switches etc.); Operating hours of any operations based equipment that is maintained; Outstanding URDEFs, ensuring a job has been built in the WP; TM200 reviewed/approved prior to AWP cut-off; and Coordination w/ CoA to confirm support requirements for CCW. About YOU Trade qualification or experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience with using Asset Management Planning Systems ideally AMPS 7. Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost. Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation. Ability to make independent judgements and decisions.
