Reporting to the Assistant Director, you'll be responsible for overseeing the regional operations of the Out of Home Care Services in the North. As the Program Manager, a key focus of your role will be ensuring the support, coaching and development of team members within our Fostering program who are pivotal in supporting foster care households and children and young people in foster care. Our Out of Home Care Service also provides a number of complimentary services including family restoration.Additional responsibilities of the role include:Ensuring programs are delivered on budget and that referrals are received, actioned and closed within required timeframes.Ensuring services are well informed in respect to managing and responding to complex family dynamics, particularly pertaining to child abuse and neglect, family violence, substance abuse and mental health issues.Ensuring team members are present and proactive in supporting placements in order to avoid placement breakdowns by developing and implementing tailored placement support plans for the immediate, short and longer term in accordance with Key Assets practice and policy and in collaboration with key stakeholders, the Key Care Team.Contributing to service growth by expanding the breadth of services delivered by Key Assets Fostering Services.The base salary for this position is $113,548 - $118,287 per annum + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is a full-time, ongoing role with an immediate start available. Whilst the role is based in Launceston, hybrid working options are also available!About youTo be successful in this role, you'll come with:Demonstrated experience leading and coaching a team.Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant recognised Qualification.Prior experience working with and/or on behalf of children, young people and families and/or working directly with foster carers and the children placed with them.Prior experience assessing parenting capacity and/or families in their own homes.Comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.Tenacity, diligence and resilience - with the ability to adopt a creative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.My Key AssetsThe health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
