Purpose
Working in the finance division you will have a "can do" attitude, a hands-on style and be happy to be involved in day-to-day detail of a specialised regulatory reporting function. Reporting to the Regulatory Accounting Manager, this position will ensure timeliness and accuracy of regulatory information and provides opportunity to be involved in system improvements and innovation projects.
This role is crucial in ensuring the NGM Groups adherence to regulatory requirements and maintaining transparency in reporting.
What will your key responsibilities include?
* APRA reporting preparation
* Timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of deliverables.
* Compliance with APRA and other regulatory standards and requirements.
* Assist in the month end processes including analytical reviews and reconciliations.
* Management of ad hoc projects and acting as SME in projects as required.
What are we looking for?
* You will enjoy working in an environment where you will help establish improved reporting processes and systems and have opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects across the finance team
* Degree and post graduate qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, MBA) in a relevant field such as Finance or Accounting
* Strong knowledge of the prudential regulatory framework and standards will be highly regarded.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential
* Excellent interpersonal, resource management and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage own workload and projects and meet deadlines
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills utilising a variety of reporting tools
* Experience in banking will highly be regarded however not essential
