Our HVAC team in NSW is growing, and we have several full-time permanent positions available. These roles offer the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and industrial properties, providing essential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services across Sydney.
HVAC Apprentice (3rd or 4th Year)
We're on the lookout for skilled HVAC Service Technicians and HVAC Apprentices to join our Select team in Sydney, New South Wales!

Perform routine maintenance and repair on HVAC systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs.
Assist HVAC Technicians and Installers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Learn to diagnose HVAC system issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Participate in the installation of ductwork, piping, and equipment in accordance with industry standards.
Help with routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting HVAC systems.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Attend TAFE and training sessions and complete assigned coursework as part of the apprenticeship program.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report to the General Manager of Select and have the support of the current HVAC team and admin support in the office.
You will work primarily from client sites across Sydney, and occasionally in the Central Coast. You will also visit the Northmead or Kirrawee office on occasion to collect equipment, for team meetings, or social events.
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day. Each week, 2 hours accrues towards a Rostered Day Off (RDO). The typical working hours are 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM; however, this will vary based on client requirements.
Occasionally, you may be required to work weekends or beyond the normal business hours. In these instances, you will be eligible for overtime rates. Occasionally, you will be called out after hours to make emergency repairs for clients; in these instances, you will receive a call-out allowance.

REQUIREMENTS
Cert 3 in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (Apprentices trade certificate in progress)
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Driver Licence required
Ability to obtain police clearance and working with children check
Valid work rights in Australia
