LECTURER, MEDICAL EDUCATION, CURRICULUM DESIGN & CO-ORDINATION
The University of Melbourne invites applications for a Lecturer position in Medical Education, Curriculum Design and Co-ordination within the Department of Medical Education, Melbourne Medical School.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key member of the Wurru Wurru Health Unit (WWHU) team, undertaking focused curriculum mapping, design, and co-ordination of the First Nations health theme in the clinical years (years 2 and 4) of the MD course.
* Lead curriculum co-ordination and implementation of the First Nations health theme in MD years 2 and 4
* Ensure the Canvas learning management system is up-to-date with relevant curriculum for the relevant year level
* Work directly with Clinical School Deans to ensure consistent implementation of the First Nations health curriculum across various sites
We are seeking a registered health professional (AHPRA or equivalent) with education experience or currently training in health or education, who has an understanding of First Nations health principles, experience with curriculum design and development or First Nations health more generally, and the ability to collaborate across a broad range of scientific and humanities education disciplines.

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector
* Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires current valid work rights for Australia.
What We Offer
Academic Level B – $119,231 - $141,581 p.a., plus 17% super (pro rata part time)
