Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Venue Manager to join our team and continue to lead this outstanding venue during its next phase of development.
Currently operating as a 9 holes course, and the 18 holes course set to be completed mid-2025. Our stunning course alongside our award-winning Birdie Restaurant have been a sought-after destination for golf lovers and the local community alike.
Birdie Restaurant offers a quality-driven, contemporary bistro menu focused on locally sourced produce. Our venue, licensed for 250 people and open 7 days a week, has been a popular destination for the local community since opening in 2021.

The Role
Reporting to the National Development Manager, you will oversee key business units and ensure all deliverables are met.
The ideal candidate has a solid golf and hospitality background and will enhance the growth and success of Links Kennedy Bay.

About you
Required skills, experience, and qualifications:
1. 5+ years in hospitality, sports, events, or golf industries
2. Current approved manager qualification
3. Degree in business, hospitality, recreation, or related field (preferred)
4. Strong leadership with proven team development, mentoring, and coaching
5. Experience in high-paced F&B environments with exceptional results
6. Strong understanding of golf and golf management
7. Solid financial and business acumen
8. Energetic and vibrant approach
9. Skills in sales, marketing, and business development
10. Contractor and stakeholder management
11. First Aid, Working with Children Check, and Police Check
