The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, and communicating progress to the project manager.

The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining productivity, quality standards, and effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure project deadlines are met.Assign tasks to workers and monitor productivity, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.Ensure work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.Conduct site inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.Implement and enforce workplace health and safety regulations.Conduct regular site safety audits and toolbox talks.Identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring all workers follow safety protocols.Maintain accurate records of incidents, safety breaches, and corrective actions taken.Monitor and manage materials, tools, and equipment to prevent delays.Coordinate deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project efficiency.Assist in hiring and training new workers as required.Maintain accurate site records, including daily progress reports, timesheets, and incident reports.Report any project delays, issues, or variations to the Project Manager.Ensure all permits, licenses, and required documentation are up to date.Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for workers, subcontractors, and project management.Liaise with clients, engineers, and inspectors to address any concerns or project adjustments.Provide regular updates to management on site progress and any potential risks.Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in civil works.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret and work from construction plans and specifications.Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Trade qualification in construction or related field.White Card (Construction Induction Card).First Aid and CPR certification.Experience using project management software and reporting tools.Work Environment & ConditionsWork primarily on-site in varying weather conditions.
